Midas is a king from Greek mythology. For us, it is a name for anyone who makes magic by hand and gives it with love.
The legend
In Greek mythology, Midas is the king with the golden touch. Everything he touched turned to gold, and he enjoyed endless wealth.
Until the day he embraced his beloved daughter, and she too turned to gold. Only then did he understand that a loving touch is worth more than all the gold and silver in the world.
How it began
Our love story with chocolate began in 2015, when Dor-Lev created our signature pralines, Golden Gems.
Dor-Lev’s family and friends loved the taste, and the care in every piece, so much that they gave their own talent and time. Efi and Tomer took the photographs, Kobi designed the visual language, and more friends and family kept joining in.
That is how Midas came to be: a brand built entirely from touches of love.
How we work today
Every praline is cast by hand from quality ingredients, all vegan and gluten-free, and boxed in gold. Our products are kosher parve under the Ra’anana rabbinate.
